Privacy notice
Last updated 2026-10-28
Draft. This page is a working draft and must be reviewed and approved before the site launches.
This notice explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. Karimont Food Safety Consultancy is an independent practice run by Thomas Kunjumon.
What I collect
- What you type into the enquiry form: the help you need, details about your business and problem, your name, work email, and, if you choose, your company and phone number.
- Anything you send me by email or tell me on a call.
The site has no accounts, takes no payments and asks for no documents.
Why
To reply to your enquiry and, if you decide to go ahead, to scope and deliver the work you ask for. Your details are not sold, and they're not used for marketing lists.
How it's handled
Enquiries sent through the form pass through the website's hosting provider and an email delivery service on their way to my inbox. The services planned are Cloudflare (hosting) and Resend (email delivery). [To confirm at launch: providers, data location and retention period.]
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. It uses your browser's session storage for one thing: remembering that the booking invitation has already been shown, so you don't see it twice. That entry is cleared when you close the tab.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, subject to any records I must keep by law. Email thomas@karimont.com.
Canadian private-sector privacy law (PIPEDA, and provincial law where it applies) sets out your rights. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
